This limited collection of rings was created during my 2024 residency at the Baltimore Jewelry Center, where I explored the traditions and tensions behind ceremonial jewelry. Each ring began as a cheap, sentimental base — reimagined and cast in bronze, silver, or gold. The final pieces reflect a spectrum of commitment, nostalgia, and transformation.
Displayed on clear resin casts of my own finger and housed in 3D-printed boxes shaped like smartphones, the rings were originally presented as an installation that questioned permanence, value, and the aesthetics of the promise ring. Now, for the first time, they’re available to wear, collect, and reinterpret in your own way.
